One of the favorite cakes of Nathalie’s hosts
The ingredients:
For the caramel 180 g of blond sugar
4 Reinettes d’Armorique apples
4 eggs
200 g flour
200 g of blond sugar
180 g semi-salted butter
In a frying pan, I pour 180 g of sugar and place my peeled apples cut into slices, I put on a fairly high heat without stirring to caramelize.
Meanwhile, I make a kind of pound dough, first the sugar, the eggs, the softened butter and finally the flour, I pour this mixture over my apples and put everything in the oven for 20 minutes at 180°.
I put my sauté pan back on the heat for a few minutes to unmold the cake more easily.
