In the land of Quimper Cornouaille

Quimper, Pont l’Abée, Bénodet, Beg Meil, Concarneau …. here you are in the heart of the Cornish country

With our beautiful city of Quimper like a banner whose chiseled spires of the cathedral seem to touch the sky, our country is full of good surprises.

Quimper and its half-timbered houses, its towpath, its beautiful hidden gardens, its cathedral and its small cobbled streets are a destination for visits and shopping in all seasons.

So go to Locronan north of Quimper to discover the stalls of craftsmen of all kinds, the magnificent church, its delicious pastries where Breton cake, pancakes and Kouign Aman compete for your favors (treat yourself and taste them all!)

How to share between must-see sites such as :

The Bigoudens country, land of legends with its chapels, its surfing beaches, the town of Pont l’Abbé…

the Pays de Fouesnant which includes the beautiful beaches of Mousterlin and Cap Coz, the coves of Beg Meil with its rocks so popular with children, its beautiful residences on the corniche.

Benodet with its slightly “retro-trendy” side, its casino, the magnificent view of the mouth of the Odet and its sailboats, its mysterious river to discover absolutely.

Concarneau for its port, its jagged coast with pretty beaches, its famous “Ville Close” and its guard tower.

Going a little further you will arrive at Pont Aven, the city of Painters and Gauguin where a multitude of artists offer you original creations and you may end up at chef Sébastien Martinez’s at the Moulin de Rosmadec, a one-star establishment in the Michelin Guide!

All your walks on the coast or inland will be punctuated by chapels dedicated to the sea and sailors, manor houses typical of our Glazig country, rivers such as the Steïr, the Odet, the Belon…. It’s impossible to get bored in this pretty country.

For gastronomy, you will have the choice between creperies, seafood restaurants or specialties such as Kig Ar Farz, ciders and local beers.

For sportsmen, sailing, fishing, surfing, sand yachting, golf, hiking, swimming …. and the Glénan Islands to get a complete change of scenery and discover a protected nature and an amazing marine environment where you may be lucky enough to see dolphins or a colony of seals….
