The spirit of the place

On the pilgrim trail, not far from Morlaix, the Manoir du Plessis Quinquis is a charming residence full of historic character, the perfect spot to unplug and unwind, close to nature.

This historic manor dates back to the 1300s, and sits serenely within its very Breton hamlet.  Ce manoir historique du XVe siècle trône dans un petit hameau fleurant bon la Bretagne.  The immediate surroundings and bursting with all of nature’s bounty, to relax and invigorate.

Renovated in a happy blend of elegant countryside and British flair, this pretty retreat is well equipped so you’ll find it easy to relax here. Enjoy lingering over breakfast on the sunny terrace before you think about how to spend your day…

● Morlaix – a town of 3 hills and 1000 years of history, featuring an iconic viaduct, stroll through its marina and quayside, alleyways and old quarters. Don't miss the graffiti tour!
● Morlaix Bay: Walk fishing during high tides, visit the offshore prison of Château du Taureau and from Carantec, walk or cycle to Île Callot at low tide

● Amiets Beach in Cleder, a large beach of white sand with turquoise waters and a huge rock of pink granite. It is like we are in the Seychelles!

Testimonials

I would highly recommend a stay at the Gite au Manoir du Plessis-Quinquis. The gite is set in a beautiful and peaceful garden and has its own outdoor space for dining and a separate secluded, quiet nook, to relax in. The lounge and bedrooms are lovely and comfortable and stylishly decorated. There is a modern well kitted out kitchen and dining space wth views out into the garden. The hosts went out of their way to ensure that we had a pleasant and enjoyable stay. (Source: Sawday’s)

Livre d'or 29/07/2023

“We loved our stay in this beautifully restored manoir in the countryside a few miles outside Morlaix. The attention to detail throughout made our stay relaxing and luxurious. The beds particularly were extremely comfortable! They lovingly created a Dutch/English garden of carefully planned planting and colour schemes, with David Austin roses. Throughout our stay Olivier and Eric were solicitous and friendly with recommendations of places to eat or to visit in the area.”
