Enjoy the peace and quiet of the majestic park with its remarkable trees, stroll through the orchard or vegetable garden and marvel at the natural surroundings on the banks of the Rance.

The manor offers two elegant and comfortable bedrooms with a refined 18th century atmosphere. Velvet, wood panelling, tassels, period furniture, duvets and fluffy pillows ensure a peaceful night’s sleep.

Just a few steps away, the 1818 cottage has two large bedrooms in chic country style, with wood-burning stove and private flower garden.

Every morning, Virginie and Thibaut will serve you a hearty, gourmet breakfast and give you invaluable tips for exploring the region. During the week, enjoy a gourmet platter or seafood platter. On weekends, you can enjoy dinner at the manor and enjoy the refined cuisine prepared by Virginie using fresh, local produce and vegetables from the kitchen garden.

● Through a door in the Manoir, you have direct access to the Sentier walk, a balcony on the right bank of the Rance, and you can enjoy our secret, unspoilt little cove, La Passagère.
● From Cap Fréhel to Mont Saint Michel, our Emerald Coast offers a wealth of varied walks. Ideally located, the Manoir allows you to easily explore the whole region, avoiding wasting too much time in the car.
● If you're just looking for some peace and quiet, you can come and relax in the shade of the trees, and take advantage of our 4-hectare park where you can admire our remarkable trees, our roe deers and our many other species.
● If you're an epicurean, we'll be delighted to show you the best restaurants in the region, as well as some of our favourite addresses.

We stayed in the cottage in the grounds of the Manor House and loved every single minute of it. Private & spacious, and a garden to enjoy. A breakfast of croissants and preserves homemade clafoutis or pancakes was brought over by Virginie & Thibaut every morning. The whole cottage is furnished in period furniture, from comfortable sofa and chairs in the TV/sitting room to the perfect king size bed covered in fresh white linen..

We arrive at last, so worth the wait, a lovely week chez vous. Manoir du val Riant is such a special place that you both have created. Our lovely room looking out over the cedar and the cyclamen, very comfortable bed, perfect for “la grasse matinée”.The most amazing and delicious food. We feel very spoilt.
