In Finistère, in the very heart of the Armoric Natural Regional Park, you’ll find an imposing 17th-century farmhouse, typical of local architecture. Surrounded by unspoilt landscapes, with Drennec Lake sparkling nearby, this farmhouse offers 3 holiday homes, where Anne-Marie and Jean Pierre are always on hand to welcome you.
The gîtes have been restored with great consideration, using authentic materials such as limestone and original wood. You’re sure to appreciate the simplicity of the designer furniture, echoing the stripped-back landscapes of the setting.
Outdoors, the garden has parterres of fruit trees and flowers, wooden gates, wicker cabins for the children and just beyond, the orchard, where you can retreat in solitude.. Fully rested, you can head off to learn all about this natural park and Brittany’s secret gems. There are countless visits and walks to try, including Drennec Lake, its shores and the watersports centre (850 metres away), Commana’s parish churches with their unusually flamboyant architecture (4km), Sizun (6km), and in Huelgoat, visit the former Girls’ School or the gigantic mossy boulders in the legendary forest (24 km). In case that doesn’t wear you out, you can also go hiking in the Arrée Mountains, mountain-biking or horse-riding (the GR380 offers 240km of trails) and the coast is just 30 minutes away by car.
