La Haute Flourie dates back to 1624 and has housed countless generations of sea-farers and their families. Located in Saint-Malo, between the sea and the River Rance, it sits framed by trees and flowers, in grounds that tempt you to stretch out on a deckchair or sunlounger in the shade of the walnut tree. Stroll through the grounds to visit the kitchen garden and greet the busy nearby chickens or the bumbling bees working on the family’s store of honey.
The welcoming living space is generously decorated with works from various artists, a great place to while away the hours at the snooker table, or snuggled by the fireside with a good book. The comfortable bedrooms overlook the grounds, and are decorated with antique or restored furniture, sculptures and colourful canvases, harmonising with the delicate textures of velvet and linen.
This property is ideally located for exploring the Emerald Coast, from Cap Fréhel to Mont-Saint-Michel, from the banks of the River Rance to Dinan. And of course, you can take all the time you need to make the most of the coast, cultural sites and restaurants while you’re here.
