In an old religious school in the hamlet of Trégranteur (the lovers’ passage in Breton) in the heart of Morbihan, Emilie and Stéphane have created 3 very cozy guest rooms in the former cells of the sisters, as well as a tea room and a shop selling jewelry and textiles in the classrooms. It is very cosy.
The 3 rooms are bright with refined decor and equipped with high-quality hotel bedding. The elegance of the carefully sourced furniture and the authenticity of the place create an intimate and harmonious atmosphere. You will enjoy a view of the bell tower, and an environment conducive to tranquility.
On a long-distance hiking trail, nestled in the lush countryside, the house is located behind a 16th-century church and just a short walk from a 17th-century castle. You will be close to the medieval village of Josselin, the legendary Brocéliande Forest, the Oust Canal, as well as the towns of Vannes and Auray on the shores of the Gulf of Morbihan.
Ojigi comes from Japanese ‘o’ (honorific) + ‘jigi’ (bowing). It is a precise, humble, and reciprocal gesture that means: ‘I recognize you and make myself available to you.’ Like namaste, it seals a bond of mutual respect, involves engagement, and reveals refinement: acting with precision at the right moment. Ojigi is the ritual that gives thanks for the encounter.
